Friend, Sibling, and Coach Requests

When you register, you will have the option to name a friend, sibling, or coach that you would like to have your child placed with. We are able to satisfy these requests the vast majority of the time. These requests are not guaranteed, however, and on rare occasions we are not able to accommodate them. The earlier you register, the easier it is for us to fulfill your request.

*Please note a maximum of 5 returning players and/or Coach requests will be placed on a team.

All of the coaches in our league are volunteers, and most are a parent of one of the players on the team. If you know basketball and enjoy working with kids in a positive environment, we encourage you to sign up as a head or assistant coach. The commitment is limited to a few hours a week.

Coaches often return for many consecutive seasons because they enjoy the experience so much. Participating in this program a great way to help your community while teaching kids how to improve their skills.

The league revolves around a positive feedback philosophy, with all players being given equal opportunity to play. All coaches are expected to follow our Positive Coaching Guidelines, which will be available online in the coaching materials.

*Please note: Every team needs a volunteer coach for the league, without a coach the teams will not have someone to run their practices and guide them through games.

Fundraising and Sponsorships:

As expenses continue to rise every year we need to have the communities help to keep registration costs low and affordable.  We offer great sponsorship packages for local business to help promote community involvement, as well as having one mandatory fundraising requirement each season. All proceeds go back into the program to keep the league affordable and to provide a quality program for every child.

*The fundraiser is mandatory for every participant.  You may choose to do the buy-out option at the beginning of the season of $30.00 or participate in the fundraiser to raise the $30.00.
